GeneMatcher2 - extremely fast hardware acceleration
of HMM, Smith-Waterman, and Genewise algorithms. Hundreds
of times faster than a dual 1 GHz PC.
- Paracel
BlastMachine (44 CPU cluster)- optimal for large BLAST
searches, such as very large query sequences, or batch
submission of hundreds or thousands of query sequences
against a database. Implements all variants of BLAST
including MegaBLAST and PSI-BLAST.
- ROCKS
Linux Cluster - 88 CPU Intel Xeon cluster. Each compute
node contains two 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon processors with
2 GB of memory. Nodes are interconnected with high-speed,
low-latency 2 Gbits/sec Myrinet networking and are
optimized for running MPI programs. Also available
for running standard serial programs.
- Sun
Fire V880 - for computations requiring large amounts
of memory or mulithreading. Has 8 CPUs and 32 GB of
memory.
